We hope you all are safe and had an amazing Christmas. It has been a weird one to say the least. I’m sure many of us are glad that 2021 is now just around the corner.
This is just a quick update on some of the improvements existing users can expect by the end of this week. There has been an oversight that has been diagnosed recently by Maximum Settings, which affected updates to the Open-Source software that is used for virtualisation of the gaming rigs. Unfortunately, software updates were not being implemented correctly as it should have been, which led to many updates being missed across all tiers. These updates included incremental but important optimisation updates and bug fixes. After internal testing, we can confirm that these updates have helped significantly with the CPU optimisation within our gaming rigs, with higher single and multi-core performance and lower CPU load when idling. Another key area of improvement is how the RAM is being utilised, as we have noticed faster read and write speeds and an overall faster ram performance. We are confident after further testing there will be further improvements that you may notice when using your Maximum Settings gaming rig.
We are happy to announce that there will be no time being wasted in waiting to push the updates to all clusters of gaming rigs across all three tiers. All clusters should have all the necessary updates by the end of this week. Currently, the Maximum Settings team is working on developing a server script that will be implemented across all tiers and clusters, which will automatically push the updates as soon as your gaming rig is started. This script should be ready within the next 24 hours.

P.S. There are no new updates in regards to when the order page will be open for new clients. As soon as there is an update to share, it will be posted. We do thank you for your interest in trying out Maximum Settings and the patience you are all showing. We at Maximum Settings are hoping for good news in the coming week and months, with new hardware already being ordered. We are in constant communication with our hardware suppliers, and will keep you guys updated of any changes.
