World of Warcraft has just released its roadmap for the 2023 Dragonflight update. This new and welcome level of transparency gives World of Warcraft players a glimpse of what's coming next year and a general sense of when to expect new content for the MMORPG. Players can have enough WotLK Classic Gold ready to play in the game.
The roadmap is shared along with comments from World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale. She lays out the general path Dragonflight will take next year and gives players a taste of the six updates it has planned.
Patch 10.0.5 will arrive in World of Warcraft early next year. In addition to new trading post functionality and the ability to convert white and gray items, a new daily quest is coming to another future zone, Primalist Tomorrow, explored in the Thaldraszus storyline. this update is already available in the public beta area, and players can expect it to go live in mid- or late-January.

In the spring, players can look forward to patch 10.0.7. This content update adds legacy armor quest lines for humans and orcs, such as the Blood Elf and Black Iron Dwarf quests during the Shadowlands. In addition, players will receive a new story quest and repeatable content in Forbidden Scope - the starting area of Draxil in Dragonflight. This story content will delve deeper into the story of the Draxir and their role in Dragonflight and set up the next major plot arc and location for World of Warcraft Patch 10.1, arriving sometime between spring and summer.
Players can expect Patch 10.1.5 in the summer, Patch 10.1.7 in the fall and Patch 10.2 before the end of the year. While there isn't much information on these content patches yet, World of Warcraft plans to listen to feedback to shape the player experience and promises to deliver more content with less downtime. At the very least, players can expect giant dungeons, holiday and world events, and new story chapters in these patches.
There's no denying that this level of transparency is a welcome change for many World of Warcraft fans. While the long-running MMORPG has shared plans for the future in the past, it has never been so thoroughly laid out for a full year of content. Players are pleased to see World of Warcraft deliver on its promise to communicate clearly and frequently while continuing to develop Dragonflight, and are optimistic about its future.
