The Greek gods don't truly die, and neither do heroes. The FPS game Overwatch 2 Battle for Olympus event, which will transform seven heroes into Olympian legends in a free-to-play deathmatch mode from January 5–19, has been announced by Blizzard. Enough Overwatch 2 coins are available for purchase by players.
In the Battle for Mount Olympus, seven Overwatch characters take on the appearance of Greek gods. As depicted in the trailer below, Queen Junker assumes the persona of Zeus and uses her Berserk talent to strike her opponents with lightning. Ramattra, the new tank, is redesigned like Poseidon and equipped with a vortex that raises foes off the ground. Roadhog changed into Cyclops Polyphemus, while Lucio assumed the role of Hermes the swift.
The ultimate ability of Widowmaker appears to have the power to freeze foes around, and she resembles Medusa in terms of deadly appearance. Each hero's eliminations will be added up over the length of the event, according to Blizzard, and the hero with the most kills at the conclusion will have a monument constructed in Ilios in their honor.
