Avalon, the newest weird mission in Destiny 2, is the ideal blend of enjoyment and difficulty, but Warlocks should be aware of a flaw that lowers their damage output when employing specific Supers. Since the release of Lightfall, Destiny 2 has been plagued by issues that affect weapons, subclasses, and mods. Moreover, new Strike objectives have been added to the mix. So it wasn't a surprise when Bungie announced the Exotic Mission Rotator for Destiny 2 and when the studio decided to dedicate the entire team to developing more missions like Vox Obscura after Lightfall.
Just a week after Lightfall's release, players discovered a bunch of carefully placed Vex nodes around the canyons of Europe's dead zone, leading to a deep hole that harbored secrets. The ensuing invasion of the Vex network is as challenging as it is fun, with elaborate puzzles and tough bosses awaiting players. However, the Avalon quest wasn't without its issues, as one observant Destiny 2 player noticed that due to a possible bug, players standing inside the Well of Light dealt less damage to enemies. First reported by Destiny Bulletin on Twitter, the tweet showed a video of a Warlock standing inside the Well of Radiance and doing less damage to the final boss.
This video shows the player using Izanagi's Burden and the Linear Fusion Rifle together to demonstrate how well the two weapons perform in the hyper zone. Typically, players standing inside the Well of Radiance will receive a damage buff and increased healing, making it a must-have Super for almost any endgame content in Destiny 2. The ease of use and enormous benefits Super offers has become a bone of contention in the community, with many even calling for it to be weakened. While this issue is definitely caused by a bug, some players are willing to make this trade-off a permanent feature.
While the Avalon's Legend build will undoubtedly have this bug, most players are worried that it will spread to other areas of the game. Players are eager for Bungie to address this as soon as possible since there are only a few days left before the debut of Destiny 2's new Raid and the first Raid match in history.
