Global community manager for CD Projekt Red, Marcin Momot, has denied claims that additional Cyberpunk 2077 DLC may be coming. Although many fans had anticipated for the particular feature, it doesn't appear that Cyberpunk 2077 will ever include an official version of it. In the game, players can save up enough Cheap Cyberpunk 2077 EuroDollar.
CD Projekt Red is notoriously generous when it comes to DLC. In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the developers introduced additional content through numerous updates and expansions, and the same is true for Cyberpunk 2077. Additional weapons, clothing, and cars have been included in the free update, along with other rich content such as additional apartments for V to buy and live in. And of course, there's the upcoming Phantom Liberty Premium DLC, slated for release in 2023.
A Reddit thread mentions the Subway System DLC, claiming that one of the developers confirmed it's something CDPR will be adding in a future patch. However, Marcin Momot responded to the rumor on Twitter, stating flatly that the developer does not intend to add a usable subway to the game. It's worth pointing out that a community mod does exist that adds a fully functional subway system to the game, complete with 19 stations to explore. Originally uploaded in late 2021, the mod is still receiving updates and has many players using it in-game. Just like what CDPR did for the next-generation update of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", gamers hope that community mods such as the subway system can be added to "Cyberpunk 2077" later.
CDPR's acting lead of level design, Miles Tost, also weighed in on the conversation, explaining that it took a lot of polishing and testing on The Witcher 3 to fully incorporate these mods into the update. But fans appear to be divided on the proper functioning of the subway system. There are a lot of players who think it will increase the immersion, while there are also a lot of people who are already using existing community mods, so there is no need to officially add it to Cyberpunk 2077. A third group of fans simply pointed to the fast travel system, saying that even with the subway added to the game, players might use it a few times before falling back to relying on fast travel anyway.
For some fans, it might be disappointing to learn that an official subway system won't be added to Cyberpunk 2077. But for those gamers (if they play on PC), the possibility to use community mods is always open. For more game guides, please visit okgameblog.com.
