Now that Elden Ring fans of Skyrim may play FromSoftware titles in first-person perspective, Lands Between essentially becomes a brand-new experience. Elden Ring's gameplay and user interface have undergone a complete redesign thanks to new mods, giving players a gameplay experience that is reminiscent of the original Skyrim but with a higher level of difficulty. Enough Cheap Elden Ring Runes can be prepared by players in the game.
FromSoftware's latest game is one of the biggest hits of 2022, selling more than 20 million copies worldwide just one year after its release. The game takes FromSoftware's signature gameplay and introduces it to an open world with a huge explorable area full of secrets. However, despite having over 100 hours of content, many players who bought Elden Ring have already finished it and are already looking for more. Recently, the new Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was announced, promising even more bosses and stories. Gamers who don't want to wait for the expansion pack for more content, though, can check out the diverse Elden Ring modding scene.
Now, if players choose, they can play Elden Ring from the same perspective as Skyrim: first-person. A new mod called "First Person Soul - Complete Game Transformation" is perfect for anyone who wants to play one of the classic FromSoftware games from a new perspective, making it look like a very hard and gritty version of Skyrim. During the game, players can change the perspective at any time, just like in the famous Bethesda games, in case they find any parts difficult to play in first or third person.

The mod also tweaks some core mechanics to make the first-person experience smoother. According to developer Dasaav, the mod comes with custom HUD elements, as well as some changes to the way the main character moves. These small quality-of-life tweaks ensure that the experience doesn't feel stuttering, as the title was originally designed for difficult third-person combat that requires precision and good timing.
Elden Ring fans interested in updates to the FromSoftware game should also know that there will be a new FromSoftware project launching sometime in the future. According to a recent LinkedIn update, former Elden Ring producer Kenneth Chan is currently working on a new project other than the already announced Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. However, there's no official information yet on whether this will be another Souls-like game, though given FromSoftware's recent track record, it's quite possible.
