After being relegated to the infamous Destiny Content Vault for years, one of the rarest shaders in Destiny 2 is now available for purchase via an in-game merchant. Shaders have always been a key component of cosmetic customisation in Destiny, offering players greater control over their Guardians by supplying them with raw strength that looks good when casting abilities and blasting foes. Destiny 2 fashion enthusiasts are constantly searching for uncommon and distinctive decorations to appear in the game because these vibrant decorations are widely available for practically any item in the game. In the game, players can gather enough Destiny 2 Silver.
Like most gear in Destiny 2, Shaders have a variety of in-game resources, some of the rarer ones locked into challenging in-game activities, such as being flawless in Trials of Osiris or running without Complete the entire raid without the player dying. Most of these unique cosmetic items are still available for players to acquire, even after the associated seasonal event has been phased out by the newer event. However, the shaders that reside in Destiny 2's controversial Destiny Content Vault (DCV for short) have remained unavailable for the past two years, much to the dismay of many fashion-minded players and rare item collectors.
Listening to these passionate community members, Bungie has decided to reintroduce items from DCV into Lightfall and beyond, with several rare weapon skins and legacy shaders available through playlist events in Eververse and Destiny 2. A Reddit user named banter_boy posted on the titular social media site that Ada-1 is selling Bergussian Night, a shader that hasn't been seen since Season of the Forge and its related content came to DCV. The item will remain in Ada-1's inventory for a full week, and players looking to purchase it can find her in the Tower Annex.
Some players have mentioned that Bergussian Night is hard to come by even during Forge seasons, as Shaders can only be obtained by scrapping Curated Weapons from Forge events or Scourge of the Past Raid. Some players also noticed the irony of Ada-1 selling this particular shader, since she was a central character in Season of the Forge. More importantly, the presence of this cosmetic item opens up the possibility of other rare shaders in the future and reduces the FOMO experienced by many Destiny 2 players.
Season of Defiance is currently offering its blessing to fashion-minded Guardians, as Destiny 2 caused quite a stir this season with the introduction of the all-black Shader. With so many rare cosmetic items appearing each week, players will be wary of the upcoming weekly resets to find even more rare items. For more game guides, please visit gameguidevip.com.
