Disney's Valley of Dreams features a variety of different types of wood in its eight biomes. Among these types, drywood is rarer than others. This wood is used for crafting a long list of recipes, but luckily isn't used for any quests, so players can keep their drywood exclusively for crafting. Drywood is more difficult to obtain as it is only available in three biomes and players must unlock it later in the game. The biome requires Dreamlight, and access to the drywood spawn is a bit more expensive than other places. Obtaining drywood is not as easy as softwood or even hardwood, but if players are looking in the right places, they will find it in no time. This wood type is available in three biomes: Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands. Players also have a chance to find Dry Wood in Kristoff's Stall, but it doesn't appear as often as other materials.
To unlock other biomes, such as the one where players can find Drywood, they will need Dreamlight, which they can collect to complete quests. Dream Fragments can also be dug up around the valley and crafted into Dreamlight. Once a player has enough Dreamlights, they can travel to a biome and use magic to unlock it. The cost of biomes where dry wood can be found is:
Sunny Plateau: 7,000
Scrub Heights: 10,000
Forgotten Lands: 15,000
When looking for dry wood, be sure to take a villager who has upgraded to blacksmithing. This will provide a better chance to collect more Drywood. Inviting villagers to hang out and keep picking wood will also help them level up friendship faster, while providing rewards to the player.
