Update 18 July 2023: It's another week in Destiny 2, which means quests, challenges, and rewards have all been reset. Following the conclusion of the last Iron Banner event of Season of the Abyss, Destiny 2 is fully committed to its next major event called Solstice of Heroes. Veteran players will be very familiar with this summer event, as players will travel to the European air zone to battle wave after wave of enemies, collect orbs and throw them into giant bonfires, then challenge the final boss for rewards and silver leaves to upgrade armor sets. Of course, there are event challenges and solstice event cards to complete, and the solstice armor will also glow to unlock. Players can prepare enough Destiny 2 Silver in the game.
Beyond that, players have discovered a friendly glitch that makes Ghosts of the Abyss a little easier than Bungie intended. While Bungie is expected to rectify this, currently, players can trigger a glitch simply by erasing the traversal portion after a ritual encounter, ultimately shortening the resurrection timer considerably.
Meanwhile, the latest Destiny 2 Remastered has finally arrived with all the updated weekly challenges, content, and hunt rewards. To get a complete look at everything new for the week of July 18, including Nightfall, Forge Mode, and challenges, here's everything players need to know.

In-depth activity season
Season of the Deep is live now, bringing with it a ton of new content, including the Titan's return destination. Of course, Season 21 also has 10 weeks of challenges to complete and new events to take part in. Bungie revealed a weekly quest called "Deep Dive," which will take players into an ocean of methane to learn about the Witness's origins. In addition, there is a matching seasonal event called "Salvage," where players will recover Golden Age technology from sunken ecological structures. And if that wasn't enough, players can also go fishing for the first time in franchise history.
Season 21 also added a brand new dungeon to the rotation called Ghosts of the Abyss, which brought back voice lines for Hive Lightbringer enemies as well as Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War. Finally, if the player completes the full list of victories and earns the Seal, the title of Season of the Deep will be Aquanaut.

Trials of Osiris map and weekly proficiency weapons
As Bungie previously revealed, Trials of Osiris has been revamped to not only make it more accessible, but also more rewarding. Gone are the win requirements associated with specific rewards, as Saint-14 now has a reputation system that rewards players who rank up by playing the game and completing bounties.
There will be no Trials of Osiris for the weekend of July 14th. The Iron Banner has been activated.
