If I just close moonlight, does it stop my clock? If not, how do I shutdown the Moonlight client or the gaming pc properly so I don’t lose any of my minutes?

By default, there are several ways to shutdown your free cloud gaming computer. Closing moonlight is not one of them.

  • 60 minute automatic shutdown
  • Pressing Alt-F4 - brings up a Windows shut-down menu (cloud system). Then just press Enter and you're done.
  • Login to your https://login.maximumsettings.com/ dashboard and shutdown manually.

The most important takeaway is that you shutdown Windows.

Something you wrote made me wonder, am I able to start the cloud system without logging into maximumsettings.com? Based on the video tutorial I thought I have to start the computer at the website, then I launch moonlight. Can I just start the computer from moonlight?

The cloud gaming PC needs to be started by logging on to the client dashboard at https://login.maximumsettings.com/
The cloud gaming PC can not be started directly through the Moonlight client.
